The editorial by Claire Domergue: L’Edito de Claire Domergue: Luxus+ unveils its new issue and prepares its next events for the new season

Only a few days left before the release of your Autumn-Winter issue of Luxus+ Magazine.

More and more of you are reading us and we thank you for that.

You appreciate the quality of the articles of our experts who allow you to deepen your luxury business intelligence before making a decision.

This is exactly what Luxus+ Magazine is all about and we will continue to bring you high quality information.

For this Autumn-Winter 2020-2021 issue, we have chosen to tackle two major subjects, the first concerning the commitment of the French leather industry, a sector that is increasingly responsible but about which little is said yet, the second being devoted to luxury watchmaking, a sector that has been completely overturned by the health crisis that is undermining its major trade fairs in the midst of restructuring.

Indeed, the Covid-19 has ruined everything on the floor. Confinement, masking, desolation and of course, no more gatherings. And for our trade shows, it’s the catamaran, particularly for the Luxury Marketing Innovation Summit…

Due to the health crisis, the Luxury Marketing Innovation Summit has of course postponed its 2020 edition.

At the same time, the new major event for luxury professionals will return very soon.

After this crisis, if it is definitively resolved, it will be a good opportunity to resume business where it left off.

That is to say very low!

But between now and then, it won’t be without counting on Les Places d’Or in Paris, from November 3rd to 5th, but also the Studyrama Art, Fashion and Design training fair on November 7th, or Luxe Pack in Monaco on November 30th, 1st and 2nd, 2020.

Also scheduled every year at the end of September, it too had to be postponed.

After all, was it really sensible to organise a trade fair at the end of September when the major TFWA event, which is itself held at the beginning of October, was cancelled this year?

But, well before the traditional autumn events, we’ve done better: on September 14th, we’ll give you a preview of your issue in Paris at the Sustainable Leather Forum at the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (EESC)!

Stay tuned…
