Following the announcement of a phased end of lockdown schedule, 19 May 2021 marks the reopening of many cultural venues that have been closed since the third wave of Covid-19. It is finally time to reconnect with the lost pleasures we have been looking forward to.
As we enter the second phase of the deconfliction plan, which is something for everyone to enjoy, many French people are wondering how they will be able to reorganise their days to get back to the feeling of life as it was before. The choice is vast: reopening of terraces, shopping centres, museums, cinemas and many other places, while waiting for wider reopenings on 9 and 30 June. Added to this, the curfew is also shifted to 9pm instead of 7pm, so you can enjoy the spring sunshine for longer.
So it’s time to enjoy the good times. This is the opportunity for us to share with you our selection of exhibitions, in order to make up for lost time.
This exhibition highlights the greatest creations of the fashion designer Coco Chanel. You can marvel at iconic pieces of the House such as the iconic 1950s suit. A selection of jewellery, accessories and perfumes recreate Chanel’s vision of fashion. Still on display from May 19th to July 18th 2021, you can book your ticket from May 17th.
This exhibition at the “Grande Galerie de l’Évolution” takes you on a journey into the world of precious stones. You will be able to discover an exceptional selection of minerals, gems and objets d’art, in dialogue with the jewellery creations of the famous House, Van Cleef & Arpels.
Conceived and presented in association with the French jeweller Van Cleef & Arpels, the exhibition, which opened on 16 September 2020 and is expected to run until 14 June 2021, closed shortly after its inauguration due to Covid-19.
In this exhibition you can discover one of the greatest surrealist painters of his generation, Salvador Dali. Immersed in the painter’s unique world, it traces over 60 years of creation. The exhibition will run from 19 May 2021 to 2 January 2022.
This exhibition is an immersive journey into the work of the indomitable street art master Bansky, who became a world-renowned artist without ever revealing his face. This exhibition with its unique, committed and subversive universe can be seen from 1 June to 31 December.
