Enter into the heart of the Krug Studio, the unique crossroads between champagne and music

The French champagne house, Krug, has designed a unique multi-sensory experience in the Voyage Samaritaine restaurant in Paris. Between culinary gastronomy and music, discover the Krug Studio.

Enter under the mythical frescoes on the top floor of the Samaritaine to see: Krug Studio. Hidden in the heart of the Voyage kitchens, what looks like a music studio is actually the living space for a multi-sensory culinary and musical experience.

Two new experiences

Thanks to the outstanding acoustics provided by the French company Devialet, the private room dedicated to the Studio hosts a musical journey accompanied by a tasting of several of the House’s cuvées: Krug Grande Cuvée 169ème Edition or the 2006 Creations. A unique and original way to discover the House in a different way than usual.

For the more curious, this sensory journey can go even further and be accompanied by an exceptional lunch or dinner in the same private music studio. On the menu? A unique immersive tasting, during which the senses are stimulated, all in the greatest intimacy.

The objective of this tasting, imagined by the Cellar Master Julie Cavil and with the help of IRCAM, the Institute for Research and Coordination Acoustics – Music, was to tune the champagnes in harmony with the notes of music during the tasting.

For centuries, my family has defied convention, which is why, today, this non-conformist spirit is perpetuated in everything we do,” emphasises Olivier Krug, the director of the House of Krug.
